At the head of all the activities of society are human resources, they are making technological breakthroughs and the development of economic growth. In the overwhelming majority of cases, the development of new technologies is carried out at the expense of organizations working to improve the economy and technological development; organizations face the difficult task of stimulating human resources for a technological breakthrough. The authors attempted to identify and analyze the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) of an enterprise and the economic efficiency of an enterprise. The method used by E.N. Kharitonova to assess the impact of CSR on the economic efficiency of the enterprise. The authors use the statistical and analytical data of Gazprom?s financial and nonfinancial reports to show the direct correlation between CSR programs and the company's financial results. It was also found that managers, business owners, shareholders, and members of the public have different expectations and visions of CSR. The results of this study can be further used to develop tools for forecasting companies? progress and development.
