Abstract

Our study provides the implementation of the modern concept "All in One - Total Tourism", already experienced within Bioterra University in the Student Practice Center in Neptun-Comorova Resort, with subsequent scaling at the international level with our bilateral collaboration partner in this field: the Institute of Advanced Specific Studies in Giza-Egypt. The applicability of the concept was achieved through a study conducted in Siwa Oasis, Egypt. This is a top destination, one of the most isolated and fascinating tourist destinations in Egypt, located in the Western Desert, close to the border with Libya, approximately 50 km. The oasis is located 19 meters below sea level, this characteristic influencing the microclimate and water resources. Remarkable for its spectacular landscapes, unique Berber culture and rich history, Siwa attracts travelers in search of adventure, relaxation and authenticity. The objectives of this study were to implement the integrated concept of "All in One Tourism" which includes in the same area the main specific forms: cultural and historical tourism, adventure tourism and ecotourism, spa tourism, gastronomic tourism, spiritual tourism and reconnection with nature, photographic and landscape tourism. The study was materialized through the participation of professors specializing in the field, both from Romania and Egypt, based on the bilateral cooperation agreement in force, the collaboration experience being already over 20 years. Responsible tourism practitioners or simply those who visit this oasis will enjoy an ecological experience, far from the tourist crowds of urban areas in general. Siwa offers an authentic experience through accommodation in ecovillages - buildings made of ecological materials with energy independence without a carbon footprint. These are ideal for those who want to explore a lesser-known corner of Egypt and choose a challenge that is both unique and mysterious. Knowing from direct interaction the complexity of integrated tourism forms, we can conclude that in Siwa the concept of All in One - Total Tourism encompasses the main forms of tourism, which we will recommend and promote to Travel Agencies and total tourism consumers.
