Abstract

Ensuring the stability of liquid rate represents a major requirement imposed for sprinkling machinery. This important objective can be materialized only by equipping sprayers with advanced automatic adjustment systems, in order to correlate the two work parameters: displacement velocity and liquid flow. An effective correlation of these parameters can be achieved using adjustment systems of the electronic type. A such adjustment system can not operate efficiently without an adequate comparator circuit. It is also necessary to use a power amplifier, in order to amplify the control signals generated by the comparator circuit. In accordance with the principle of operation of the electronic systems for automatic correlation of liquid flow with displacement velocity were designed and manufactured the two important circuits, used in the construction of these regulators. The way of working of the power amplifier, which puts into short circuit the motor rotor for the cancellation of each command, ensures a strong braking and a stoppage almost instantaneous of the rotor. This fact has favorable consequences on accuracy of flow adjustment. Analysis of obtained results from the tests demonstrates that the designed circuits works properly, in accordance with the specific transfer functions, for both of separate regimes (transitive and stationary).
