Abstract

Today, the world is involved in a major experiment, which studies what happens when they are released into the atmosphere in greater quantities of carbon dioxide and other gases. The climate models developed by specialists in the field estimate that, the global climate will warm by 1, 1 – 6,400 C during this century. The main cause of the global warming is increasing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere in the last centuries. The gases behave like walls of a greenhouse, maintaining the solar energy in the atmosphere, and little by little the Earth is getting warmed. Due to the explosive growth of the industry, the human activity is the cause of throwing in the atmosphere large amounts of greenhouses gases, especially carbonic gas, of the nitrogen oxides, methane and chlorofluorocarbon. Besides the industrial development, due to another equally important cause is the massive deforestation of the forests. They lead to an increasing of the concentration of pollutants which causes the effect of global warming and depletion of the ozone layer. A heating with a 2 or 3 degrees Celsius on global plan in relation to the average level of temperature from 1990 it will have a huge impact on all the world regions. The heat can also cause natural disasters. This may cause fires or maintain the forest fires caused by the human negligence. The glaciers and ice fields are melting, the article ice surface from the North Pole has decreased with 10\% in recent decades, and the thickness of the ice above water has decreased by approximately 40\%. The oceanic currents are changing , and the ocean levels are increasing in the last century the sea levels has increased by 12,22 cm and already is forecasted that it will growth faster in the future. The worming is due to changing the dominant winds, of increasing the greenhouse gas emissions concentration and of affecting the ozone layer. The glaciers detachment from the Antarctica’s platform has increases in the last decade by 75\%. In the last decade they have been placed more natural disasters such as: heat waves, floods, droughts and forests fires. All these types of event have a very high economic and human price. The nature is under threat, many animals and plants won’t be able to adapt at high temperatures and changes produced in their natural habitats And as effect on the biosphere where IPCC presents a series of observations concerning the warming influences on the biosphere, observations that shows the local destabilization of the climate and the seasons disturbance. There isn’t a more concerning problem for the earth then the global warming, the entire planet’s population enjoys of the same atmosphere. Unless it will be taken measures, the climatic changes will involve more and more material damages and will interrupt the smooth functioning of the environment which provides us food, raw materials and other essential resources. This fact will affect negatively the economies and could destabilize the societies in the world.
