Abstract

The use of development systems with open mined-up space due to increased technological risks associated with ensuring the sustainability of the rock mass. The main production technique that improves the safety of refining operations under these geotechnologies in the conditions of considerable depths is a multiple increase in the size of various types of pillars, leading, in turn, to a significant increase in mineral loss. Today, the mining situation of most steeply dipping polymetallic and gold deposits is due to the significant amount of ore pillars left in the depths. Their formation is mainly due to the earlier excavation systems by sublevel drifts and the storage of ore. Therefore, in order to reduce the negative impact of rock pressure on the mine workings, as well as its manifestations in a dynamic form and to improve the indicators of the completeness and quality of ore extraction at deposits, it is increasingly necessary to refine them. The article presents the rationale and choice of the most acceptable order and technology of revision of previously left intercameral, under-sharpened and above-sharpened ore pillars formed by chamber development systems with open developed space from the point of view of safety
