Abstract

Nowadays The storage of pig slurry has been an unsolved problem for a long time in Hungary, therefore the appropriate processing technology is a very important question in order we can produce from the pig fattening and slaughtering by-products the best possible quality of final product. The determined goals of the product development can be achieved in two ways. The first possible method for it preserving the nutrients in the slurry and the another way adding fertilizers or other valuable materials, that improve the soil. At the end of the industrial research project, we can develop a new technology. There are all the liquid manure can be processed in the pig farms with this new technology, which has the most important result to produce a final product with rich nutrient content and with low emission. The fermented manure can be supplement with second category slaughterhouse by-products or even nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. The active ingredients for completing, like different fertilizers or different slaughterhouse by-products specialize the fermented manure product for successfully use as fertilizer of the different plant species. Maybe the most important part of product development activity is the market research and use of the collected data with a consumer questionnaire to identify the directions of product development.
