SCHOOL GEOECOLOGICAL MONITORING IN SHAPING OF ECOLOGICAL COMPETENCE
Abstract
One of the most significant goals of the educational system has become the aim of shaping of a personality with a high level of ecological culture with the aim to constant self-development, the progress of society and the priority of universal values, capable of perceiving and realizing the ideas of co-evolution and providing due to their activities a stable development of humanity in future. The success of its solution depends on multitude of factors, among which the time of en culturation of agrowing person to ecological culture is of no less importance. The aim of ecological education is acquiring ecological competences, the result of which is respectively ecological competence of students. As the results of the activities carried out in this aspect demonstrates, one of such means is the system of geoecological monitoring aimed at shaping of ecological outlook of students of of middle and secondary school. It means creating at schools the atmosphere of intellectual scientific research, involving every participant of monitoring in solution of geoecological problems of their house, school neighborhood, their city. The article presents the analyses of opinions of Russian and foreign researchers of the process of organizing of school geoecological monitoring. Special attention is paid to the shaping of ecological outlook by means of geoecological education and bringing up of citizens of urban territories. Such aspects of research as social, pedagogical and local ones are defined. The authors describe the peculiarity of geoecological monitoring and present the example of a plan of activities and the list of project research activities of students.
