IMPACT OF THE WATER SUPPLY NETWORK ESTABLISHMENT IN BICAZ CHEI VILLAGE, NEAM? COUNTY
Abstract
The paper has been prepared in accordance with the stipulations of the regulations in force issued by the Ministry of Waters, Forests and Environmental Protection of Romania. The objectives of this research were: the study of the physical changes resulting from the implementation of the water supply network, the analysis of potential sources of pollution of the main environmental factors, and the highlighting the impact on biodiversity of National Park ?Cheile Bicazului - Ha?ma??. These were achieved by: study of the aspects regarding the location of all components of the water supply system, identification of sources that may affect surface water quality, of groundwater on site, the sources that can affect soil and air, establishing and describing the aspects aimed at affecting the habitat of plant and animal species protected and conserved in the studied National Park. The aim was to identify, establish and describe, according to the legislation in force, direct and indirect, synergistic, cumulative, main and secondary effects arising from the implementation of the project for the establishment of this water supply network in the analyzed area. The water supply system of Bicaz Chei village ensures the capture of a flow of 13.08 l/s from Maria Spring, the water transport through the supply pipe to the water household, where it will be disinfected and distributed metered to the distribution network. We have also considered any accidental pollution that may occur at the site.
