ORGANIC FOOD CONSUMPTION IN A CENTRAL EUROPEAN REGION

Abstract

In 20-21 the Century the environment protection is a main question in Europe. One of the answer is organic farming. In organic farming the farmers and producers produce food without using chemicals and artificial fertilizer. Today the organic food? market is large enough to research its characteristic. The article researches EU organic farming situation and in a region of its characteristics. European countries? situation is analysed and the question is what did and what to do in the future for the consumers to become healthy consumers. The typical consumer is young, do not bother about health, have enough money but feeling healthy but not. They do not have market knowledge do not know the difference between organic and normal food. They need developing their knowledge about health, food and organic methodology. There is a strong connection between nonchalance and their conditions and it is necessary to renew in these questions. The new ways showing the opportunities of the future and the responsibility depends on us.
