THE IMPLEMENTATION OF WIND ENERGY SOURCE IN THE DESIGN OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

Abstract

The correct design of the construction equipment objects and their usage plays an important role in the overall efficiency of the construction with regard to the execution time, the resulting price, performance of workers on the construction site and use of deployment mechanisms. During the construction is the possibility of using alternative sources in the design of construction equipment, which may contribute to the overall efficiency of the construction. The article gives an example how to proposal a suitable type of wind turbine to cover an installed capacity of the interior and the outdoor lighting (kW) on the construction equipment. Proposal was considered according specific choosing of techno-economic feasibility. Data of the wind speed was measured in real construction site which is situated in Bratislava and second data were tooken from SHMU (Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute). Using of alternative energy sources constitutes an added value for the possibility of successful obtaining the world's foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings BREEAM certificate. Last but not least it can help improve Slovakia to a higher percentage to use BREEAM.
