ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE METALLURGICAL COMPLEX ON THE ECOLOGICAL BALANCE: RATIONAL USE OF RESOURCES AND EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL MEASURES
Abstract
The modern society is focused on the main recommendations of the TEEB - The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity. One of the document directions is "Business can save biodiversity and improve the exploitation of ecosystems". The task is to strengthen those economic development strategies that are environmentally sound, socially just and profitable for business. Such measures are an integral part of the resources rational use policy in modern industrial enterprise. The object of this study was the process of production of rolling metal. The production associated with the use of natural resources and is accompanied by wastes that have a negative impact on the environment. So reviewed the draft environmental production technology. For the analysis this project was developed and tested methodology for economic assessment. The main changes is the reduction in the amount of waste and in reducing the material costs. Also conducted a sensitivity analysis of the resulting methods on the change of indicators NPV? DPP. In the process of research generated positive results. This method is recommended for use in the assessment of economic efficiency friendly technology.
