Abstract

The article deals with the geotechnical calculations of the interaction of reinforced concrete storage boxes with subsoil at different loading states. From the numerical method point of view, this problem is solved by deformation variant of the finite element method. Defined the load states take into account the gradual filling of storage boxes with low and intermediate radioactive waste and final coverage of the storage boxes. More detailed are analyzed the results of the numerical calculations of vertical displacement (settlements) of the storage boxes during filling and after the realization of the final coverage of the waste dump. Basic parameters of the geotechnical model (geometrical and material boundary conditions) arise from an engineering-geological survey and structural design of the dump. The 3-D numerical model for the geotechnical calculations was developed according to assumptions of the linearly elastic half-space theory. The numerically obtained results are presented in the graphical forms. To solve the soil-structure interaction problem has been used ANSYSпїЅ calculation program.
