Abstract

This paper deals with the topic of image calibration and transformation inside the photogrammetric system FOTOM 2008. The calibration module is used for approximate determination of outer camera parameters (position and rotation) with respect to captured objects. An additional transformation is based on similarity of homocentric circles and is accomplished in two steps, which will be described. Variables, obtained from the calibration are used for corrective projection enabling easier measurement of observed objects.
