Abstract

The contribution deals with heating proc ess modelling and using service oriented architecture in process modellin g in Matlab client envir onment. Granular material heating with combustion gas is typical process in area of raw material processing. Paper briefly characterizes and describes model of heating process with its particularly models of heat accumulation and convec tive heat transfer from the modelling point of view. In the next part of contribution is characte rized basic service oriented architecture principles as well as web service as its dominating implementation form. The contribution specifies creation of functi on in Matlab environment intended for web service implementation, its data structure design and description of applied dependencies for molar heat capacity, enthal py etc. Based on realised simulation are described achieve results.
