Abstract

Increasing energy efficiency leads to the fact that companies operating on renewable energy sources are gaining more weight in the sector and becoming more competitive. It is not easy to manage companies working with renewable energy sources since it requires fully transparent management. Digitalization comes into play with management software that optimizes processes and energy services and solves their problems in terms of development and productivity. Over the coming decades, digital technologies are set to make energy systems around the world more connected, intelligent, efficient, reliable, and sustainable. Digitalized energy systems in the future may be able to identify who needs energy and deliver it at the right place and at the lowest cost. The article is devoted to studying digitalization in the energy sector on the viability of energy companies. The authors note the positive impact of digitalization on the viability of energy companies. Tajikistan already has a positive experience in the use of Smart energy metering systems. A key factor in the success of digitalization transformation is the availability of highly qualified personnel and appropriate jobs, as well as a training system for specialists with certain competencies for the development and implementation of digital technologies. The success of digital transformation will depend on how effectively Tajikistan can mobilize human and financial resources for such an ambitious initiative.
