Abstract

The article presents the way of conducting a forecast of leverages of underground mining run by longwall fronts in three deposits of hard coal on the area. The forecasted values of subsidences, inclinations and curvatures of mining area were calculated by the Budryk- Knothe theory with the use of typical values of its parameters, namely, a coefficient of subsidence of floor rocks equal to 0.8 and tangent of scope angle of main leverages amounting to 2.0. The forecasts of indicatorsпїЅ values of area deformation were carried out for each exploitation stage, namely, after the termination of exploitation in one, two and three deposits, in points of an observation line set on the area over the exploitation area. The results of forecasts were presented in a form of charts depicting a course of theoretical values of indicatorsпїЅ values along a measurement line. Subsequently, the evaluation of conducted forecasts was presented based on real results of surveys run on points of line, based on which the observed values of the aforementioned deformation indicators were calculated. The forecasted and measured courses of subsidences, inclinations and curvatures were compared based on calculations of values of PearsonпїЅs correlations coefficients and the juxtaposition of their extreme values.
