BACTERIAL ENDOPHYTES FROM POPLAR IN THE CONDITIONS OF ARKHAGELSK
Abstract
Endophytic bacteria can improve the growth and development of plants, and also prevent the growth or activity of plant pathogens, reduce the aggressiveness or causative agent. Endophyte bacteria can be specific depending on the host. The properties of the microorganisms colonizing tissues of various plants can vary greatly. Therefore, the study of endophytes present in plants is of great interest because of their possible subsequent use in order to increase the productivity of plants and protect them from pathogens. The aim of the work is to isolate and characterize endophytic bacteria from laurel poplar wood and fragrant poplar wood. By sowing on nutrient media 4 isolates were isolated from the wood of the laurel poplar, and 2 isolates of endophytic microorganisms were isolated from the poplar of the fragrant. Endophytic bacteria belonging to the genus Staphylococcus, Bacillus, Lysinibacillus, Brenneria were isolated in the laurel poplar, and bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus, Brenneria were isolated in the fragrant poplar. Endophytic bacteria belonging to the genus Staphylococcus, Bacillus, Lysinibacillus are economically useful.
