SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND GREEN ECONOMY IN DIGITAL AGE
Abstract
In the framework of this study, the main prerequisites, conditions and stages of the modern concept of sustainable development are considered. The content of this concept is revealed, general principles, criteria and indicators of sustainable development are determined, the features of the development of the ?green? economy in the conditions of digitalization of the world economic system are considered. Taking into account these features, a model of the regional concept have been developed describing sustainable development and organizational and economic mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness of its implementation in the context of structural changes in the economic system resulting from the transition to the sixth technological order and the widespread introduction of information and telecommunications systems within the digital economy. The possible ways of applying the developed approach and the structure of the international program of transition to a sustainable development strategy, as well as its features in Russia, are considered. In conclusion, conclusions were drawn about the importance of using the developed approaches both to increase the economic efficiency of the means of production in the digital age and to improve the overall standard of living of the world population in the era of structural transformations in the technological, social and economic order.
