EFFECT OF PRECISION TECHNOLOGIES APPLICATION FOR REDUCING THE HARMFUL EMISSIONS OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY
Abstract
Environmental protection has taken priority among the amendment proposals to theagricultural support scheme of the European Union, the Common Agricultural Policyplanned as of 2020, one of the specified means of which is precision agriculturalproduction. The case of pig farms using digital technology, it is also possible to collectand analyze production results in the field of pig fattening, which can be used todevelop theoretical models for economical pig fattening, for being better the food chainsafety and reduction of harmful emissions. The methodology of the examination is tocontact different agricultural companies, that applying precision and digitaltechnologies. The aim of this research to assess the methods of the technologies and theassessment of the efficiency of the technologies used as far as production the reductionof harmful emissions. Furthermore, we assess the impact of digitalization processingmethods for by-products in the field of animal husbandry. In the course of research, weare assessing the achievement of the strategic goals set out in the Digital AgriculturalStrategy, the Common Agricultural Policy and the Green Deal concerning the region inthe case of the model farms we tested.
