Abstract

Currently one of the most worldwide significant tendencies is global warming. The greenhouse effect connected with increasing emissions of technogenic gases into the atmosphere is considered to be the main reason of global warming. Greenhouse effect has negative impact on environmental footprint. At the present time the mankind is obliged to take into consideration an ecological factor and make decisions to reduce ??2 emissions into the atmosphere. Up to date there is enough world experience of implementing projects of ??2 capture, transportation and sequestration. However, there is a number of pros and cons of such technologies development. The paper is devoted to the basic stages of ??2 sequestration technology. The review of ??2 sequestration ways is given. The main features which need to be taken into account for making decisions about carbon dioxide sequestration are considered. The analysis of positive and negative sides of ??2 sequestration technology is carried out. The argument map feasibility of introducing these technologies in Russia is created. We draw a conclusion about applicability of this technology in Russia on the basis of argument map creation.
