Abstract

The quality and issues related to quality assurance of goods has concerned scientists and especially practitioners for a long time. One of the methods used to improve quality is value analysis, which allows to reduce unnecessary or disproportionate costs of some parts of the products compared to the contributions on quality that those parties bring. By using this method is determined to increase the quality of the products, optimising the size of the essential properties and functions. In the present work it is intended to achieve the improvement of the quality of a product by using value analysis to study the production in all phases and elements of its components. For the chosen product is used this method as a tool that helps clients resolve problems related to the decrease in cost, which will increase the competitiveness. For solving the problem of the costs through this method we use the following types of reasoning: the accumulation of information on the functions of the product chosen, analysis of information obtained by following the steps set out, taking the optimal decision on the use of technical creative activity results.
