The aim of the article is to present the use of online tools in the field of controlling in the company and their role in data processing and information transfer for the management. The article also presents the role of online tools in business in general. The applied research methods are based on literature studies in the studied field and assessment of IT tools supporting the controlling processes in the enterprise. The basic hypothesis is the assumption that broad public access to IT tools facilitates the flow of information between the company's cells and allows rational economic decisions to be taken by the management [15].
