ANALYSIS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS DESIGN METHODS APPLYING TO THE HYPERLEDGER BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM
Abstract
This article discusses methods for designing distributed information systems for use in design using the Hyperledger blockchain platform. Of course, the main stages do not differ, but there are also differences that will be identified in the course of the study and a proprietary approach to the implementation of these features is proposed. The request for the possibility of decentralizing business processes in certain areas (such as financial transactions) led to the emergence of distributed ledger technologies, which made it possible to store data about transactions in a distributed form with the ability to ensure traceability, invariability and reliability. An approach to building distributed applications - DApps (Distributed Application) - has also become widespread. Decentralized applications have a system architecture in which there are no dedicated nodes that control the activities of other nodes. The main features of a decentralized model are: - decentralization, which affects not only computing, but also data; - a mechanism that provides synchronization of the state of the entire system, without the presence of an external control action or a control unit; - use of open-source implementation - the program code of the system should be available to everyone; - the presence of a built-in self-regulation system in the distribution of system resources; - the absence of a single point of failure in the system, which ensures the functioning of the system in the event of local failures, which allows the system to work effectively regardless of the number of nodes active at the moment. One of the features of Hyperledger is the fundamental refusal to create their own cryptoassets. Its modular architecture maximizes privacy, flexibility, and ease of blockchain solutions. This makes it a good option for implementing information systems design methods.
