Abstract

Simulation modeling methods allow researchers to create models of complex systems. And it still remains a scientific field. Our purpose is to implement simulation models in training, but as a destination also to business пїЅ to actually use autonomous applications as support systems decision-making in the tourism industry. This paper considers some opportunities of the system for simulation modelling GPSS World Personal Version for creation and applying simulation models in the training managers in the hotel business. The proposed model of Hotel Revenue Management System is presented in details: The module for booking and the calculation of the variables describing the hotel revenue (Occupancy rate, Average daily rate, etc.). Besides the variables are described and some used functions, save values, matrices, and other elements of the GPSS language too. The modeling algorithm is developed by means of GPSS World, and as a mean of implementation is used the new upgrading GPSS editor - Extended Editor. The Extended EditorпїЅs opportunities for conducting such simulations are shown. The described model is initial stage of a project aims Studying the capabilities for the realization of the applications that are closely connected with educational and marketing purposes.
