EVALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND HORIZONTAL FACILITIES INTERACTION BETWEEN THE ROCK AND MINING SUPPORT
Abstract
Calculation of the mining support in tunnels and/or underground facilities can be based on application of contemporary numerical methods, but sometimes it can be performed with the classical methods too. These methods can be found to be used in order to choose variants and ways of supporting, but also in the moments that unpredictably appears during the construction of facility. Before installing a permanent mining support, these methods can help the projector at the selection of type of support and ways of temporary supporting. These methods can also be applied at the mining facilities. In this paper, the method of supporting with the steel arch will be elaborated, and MATHCAD - code is integral part of it. Examples are provided with the original units with the aim of verification of code, and as a separate part is based on the HOEC-Braun code for dimensioning of the steel arch support, concrete support or anchors. The examinations were carried out in the in-situ conditions at a cross section of up to 16 square meters in mines as follows: Magnesite Mine Kladanj, Brown Coal Mine ?Breza?, Mining Company ?Kreka? Tuzla (Lignite Coal Mine ?Mramor?). A special evaluation was done at the construction of horizontal underground faculty, road tunnel ?Pecuj?located within corridor VC corridor. The analysis is carried out through the ?Adina?software suite with the approximation of the tertiary tensional status.
