OUTSOURCING AS A CONTEMPORARY MODEL OF AGRICULTURAL CORPORATION BASED ON COMPETENCIES
Abstract
Outsourcing and innovations are very sensitive matters for people dealing with agriculture, especially in the case of farmsteads, which are producing safe food. Food should be same and manageable at the same time. There are currently various definitions of safe food, especially in the case of organic food. In order to fulfil this condition, there is a need for closer co-operation between the farmsteads and the entities in the agricultural sector. As consequence of this approach, the notion of outsourcing is beginning to become more important, but is currently quite unfamiliar for farmers. The main objective of the study was to identify the evolution of which pass farms in recent years of operation in relation to the use of outsourcing in their business. The first phase of the study (survey) was aimed at determining the use of outsourcing and its impact on the development of "farmsteads" in the Opolskie Voivodship and on the activities and co-operation with the surroundings (e.g. co-operation with institutions supporting agriculture, but also co-operation with science and research institutions). This diagnosis will allow for the formulation of recommendations, according to the needs and important for economic development, for determining and complex implementation of fields of applying outsourcing in the Polish farmsteads. The second stage of the in-depth studies (focus group interview) included the definition of areas of co-operation with external entities and behaviours related to supporting the execution of the strategic goals, in which outsourcing becomes one of the elements of the action strategy.
