THE ISSUE OF CONSTRUCTION OF NEW INDUSTRIAL SITES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND
Abstract
The company is constantly evolving, and it is necessary to constantly produce new and new statements. However, these products are not produced on a greenfield site, but it is necessary to build enough facilities for their production and subsequent distribution (production halls, warehouses, transshipment facilities, communications, etc.). The article focuses on the current issue of the construction of industrial sites in the Czech Republic and the impact of the construction on the landscape, specifically on agricultural land and wildlife. It focuses on the view of an investor who builds an industrial site to maximize profits and, on the other hand, people and small farmers who live in the area and want to preserve the existing landscape for the next generation. The issue will be shown on concrete case in practice and should be used to reflect on whether there is something wrong with our legislation. Whether we need to build new buildings on undeveloped land, even at the cost of losing agricultural land and wildlife.
