Abstract

The modern world faces serious challenges related to environmental protection, such as climate change, depletion of natural resources or loss of biodiversity. New economic and social models, as well as technologies are needed to bring significant benefits to the environment. Entrepreneurs also face the challenge of introducing changes and carrying out restructuring processes to effectively implement eco-innovations. One of the tools to determine the company's development potential in the area of eco-innovation is a technology audit. The purpose of the paper is to identify areas and ways of using a technology audit as a diagnostic tool for the assessment of the possibilities of implementing eco-innovation in an organization.
