Abstract

Classic belt conveyors are designed primarily for continuous, straight transport of almost all bulk materials on short, medium and long lines. They are characterized by high transport performance. Their disadvantage is that the material can be transported in ascending order with a maximum ascent of + 18 ° and drop-down to -12 °. Another disadvantage is the need for overflows in the event of a change in the direction of material transport and pollution of the living and working environment due to the trough shape of the conveyor belt. All these disadvantages are eliminated by environmentally friendly Ecotubelt conveyors. For both classic and Ecotubelt conveyors, it is necessary to place the impact bed at the point of impact of the material on the conveyor belt. The article compares the current and progressive support systems at the beginning of the article. Specifically, it is an impact bed with compacted rollers, an impact bed with garland rollers and an impact bed with impact rods. Since from the comparison of the quality of these constructions it was evaluated as the most suitable innovative impact bed formed by impact rods, only 3 innovative support systems with impact road are evaluated. Impact resistance, bar deflection, fracture stress of the inner layer, density of the middle layer and reflection of the material were chosen as the main evaluation criteria for selected innovative support systems. To evaluate the quality of innovative support systems, 3 methods are applied - Decision Matrix Method, Forced Decision Matrix method and Analytic Hierarchy Process. At the end of the article, the results of each method are evaluated and the order of quality of the evaluated support systems is determined.
