FINANCING SUPPORT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES IN SLOVAKIA
Abstract
Renewable energy sources (RES) at the Slovak Republic have only 1,6 \% part in general of power consumption. The development of RES utilization in definitely within the priorities and will positively become evident in political economy of Slovak Republic in several spheres: 1. Level increasing of a home energy sources value 2. Decreasing depends on external energy supplies, which currently cover approx.90\% of the total consumption of the primary energy sources. 3. Improvement of foreign market balance (because the import of primary energy sources is 20 \%) 4. Increasing of assurance and responsibility of energy delivery Organizations providing the RES have different possibilities of financing of its activities, whereby they can use a support of the state as well as a support of nongovernmental organizations. Recent financing from the state budget to support RES is restricted for programs of state supporting and co-financing foreign programs. Experiences from several different countries show that without any initial state supporting it is not possible to develop the base for technology applications using the RES. This article is focused on analyze of financial state support as well it shows some possibilities of financing the RES by the state as are state founds, grants, financing, etc.
