EDUCATIONAL DESIGN OF THE ADAPTIVE LEARNING SYSTEM IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Abstract
The preparation of competent specialists in higher educational institutions who have abilities for self-fulfillment and self-actualization in their professional activities and who are combining both personal and professional significant qualities is a strategic goal of the contemporary higher education. Today the problem of design and elaboration of the adaptive educational system is conditioned by the need to optimize and adjust the principles of traditional didactics to the challenges of contemporary information society: perfection of the content and the methods of education taking into account the universal application of information technologies; design of electronic information educational environment providing the approach to the learning materials and the freedom of choice of methods, forms and assessment of the results. The aim of the article is to find out and describe the main approaches to the educational design of the adaptive learning system for students of the higher educational institutions. The work considers the ideas of system, synergetic, and environmental approaches, as well as the application of their main provisions when designing the adaptive learning systems. The article reveals and describes main characteristics of subjects? relations within the adaptive system. It gives the description of algorithm to control the educational process oriented toward the activation of students? self-organization mechanisms. The results of the research will be useful when implementing the system changes of the educational process within the conditions of implementation of the needs of acting federal state educational standards of higher education.
