UTILIZATION OF A MULTIFACTOR METHOD OF DECISION MAKING IN THE FIELD OF RECOVERY OF ASH FROM METALLURGICAL PRODUCTION
Abstract
This paper deals with alternative options for the recovery of ash from metallurgical production, which is considered to be waste generated by the above-mentioned production process and is currently being disposed of by landfilling. It is precisely the recovery of such waste that contributes to the sustainable development of the environment, to the increase of the metallurgical business itself and thus to the preservation of its competitiveness. Based on quantitative and qualitative analyzes of the ash produced, it points to the possible use of ash in the context of its further appreciation and economic benefits for the metallurgical plant itself. In the sense of defining the effective appreciation of the produced ash, the article uses a multifactorial decision making method, the integral part of which is the principles and principles of Saaty matrix. Based on the Saaty matrix methodology, pre-defined explicit factors will be quantified, which directly determine the choice of the most appropriate alternative for the use of fly ash produced from metallurgical production through the priorities of individual factors using a multifactor decision-making method. Finally, the article presents the results of explicitly defined factors of possible use of ash from metallurgical production with emphasis on the economic aspect of the solved problem.
