Abstract

This article is devoted to the assessment of cultural landscapes of the Cheboksary urban district. At present, with active urbanization, the problem of preserving landscapes and culture and the social space of the local community arises. In the course of writing the article, descriptive, analytical, mathematical and cartographic methods of research were used. The results in the article analyzed the existing theoretical and methodological issues in the field of cultural landscapes of their assessment. Classes of cultural landscapes of the Cheboksary urban district are highlighted, cultural landscapes are assessed. The practical significance of the work lies in the formation of analytical and cartographic material, natural and recreational resources, excursion, educational and recreational tourism.
