Abstract

The paper presents the main factories which determine the environment pollution at hot dip galvanization process of steel sheet and developing of recycling technologies of zinc by-product, with a view to recovering metal zinc or different sub- products, and returning them in the production cycle. By th e recycling of zinc by- products the prime material consumption is reduced and enviro nmental protection is improved. Industrial wastes generated in the hot dip galvanization pr ocess of steel sheet are: zinc ash, dross, flue dusts, sludge, etc. Dross and ash have high content of zinc, about (80Г·95%). Have been studded the influence of the hot dip galvanizati on conditions on waste quantity, chemical composition of these and the impact on environmental protection. The hydrometallurgical processing was used for processing of these wastes because this method determine reduce energy consumptions and materials. Solubilisation of zinc by- product carried out in acid solutions on basis of H 2SO4 and HCl for recovering of metal zinc by electrolytic methods and ion- exchanging resins retaining procedures.
