Abstract

In the given work statistical processing of the existing base of long-term historical data of the River Kura «Mtkvari» water quality parameters (some biogenic substances: nitrate NO3 and nitrite NO2 ions) for the period of 1980 – 1989 in some large settlements is carried out, in particular, above and below cities Borjomi, Gori, Tbilisi and Rustavi. Results for the small settlement Khertvisi located close to border with Turkey were also used as the representative data. There is offered the simple methodology of a quantitative estimation of these parameters of water quality, in particular, their equilibrium (background) values, influence of natural and anthropogenic factors on them, their extreme values are sufficient. There is given the analysis of some regularity of mechanisms of formation process of water quality parameters in the work. It is possible to note, that such approach appears perspective for the decision of many tasks arising at a quantitative estimation of various factors of influence of an environment on parameters of superficial water quality.
