IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY UNDER CONDITIONS OF THE KOSICE REGION

Abstract

The process of the development of a proper environmental strategy and its successful implementation into everyday life has become one of the most important ideas of the 21 st century. Typically, the major issue related to this strate gy is its financial aspect; however certain regional disparities or local specifics may also represent a significant problem. In addition to the state environmen tal policy, the government of the SR has also developed basic concepts of environmental programmes. The main objective of the submitted article is to point out to the process of the envi ronmental strategy implementation in the KoЕЎice region, especia lly in relation to e nvironmental disasters we had to face during the last two years.
