EVALUATION OF MINERAL WATERS OF EASTERN SLOVAKIA
Abstract
Slovakia with regard to its small size (approximately 49,000 km2) is relatively rich in mineral water sources. This fact also applies to conditions of eastern Slovakia, which is mainly in the northern part concentrated numerous mineral springs in addition to several spas and bottling plant minerпїЅl waters. Eastern Slovakia is part of the Western Carpathians, which are of geological terms divided into five structural-facial zones. In addition to the front to the west of Slovakia interventions on its east: - Flysch zone - Cliffs zone - Zone Central Western Carpathians - The Internal Neogene depression and volcanic Mineral waters are bound to all of the bands for which the charakteristic varied geological conditions, which is reflected not only in an amount of mineral water, but also in the richness of its type. Eastern Slovakia as part of the Western Carpathians is characterized by strong occurrence of different types of mineral water and composition. This their diversity is mainly due to the diversity of rocks to which they are attached. At processing of this issue, therefore, we focus on different types of rock structure, situated in a given area. A significant part of prospective sources will be directly identified for research in the field. The result will be processing of perspective sources of natural mineral water in the KoпїЅice and PreпїЅov region, as well as outputs that describe the possibility of using various sources of mineral water.
