DESIGN OF TRANSPORT NOISE BARRIERS

Abstract

Transport noise barriers are ecological struct ures that are designed and built along the roads (motorways, expressways and railways etc. ), in order to reduce the noise levels to the limit values for urban areas and in rooms of buildings. Assessment of the effectiveness of the barrier is carried out th eoretically, empirically or by a combination of both methods. To automate the design of th in noise barriers are created four modules from the series Screen *, which are part of the software package for acoustic calculations SoundBG.
