Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present Romanian history of oil and gas industry, about key achievements and key figures, with impact in oil and gas industry around the world and a possible new management approach. Global energy market is in a continuous change, firstly due to the evolution of the oil barrel, and secondly due to the newly discovered technology and to the population?s education level. Global warming and the concerns of the great governments are some of the coordinates that have had a great impact upon the energy market at the global level. The question about management and what can make a difference in terms of success on the market, the paper will emphasize through a new theoretical approach. The organization of the future is the one with new skills and a new approach. The project management methodology applied for human resources with increasing competences can be one of the alternative education processes. The current paper will present a theoretical approach and personal point of view about the impact of competencies increasing through different programs, applied in oil and gas industry.
