MYTHOLOGICAL THINKING AS A FACTOR OF CREATING AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH IN THE FORMATION OF ECOLOGICAL THINKING
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of restoring the disturbed balance in the system of ?man-society-nature?. As one of the factors the values of mythological consciousness are proposed. Myths and legends represent the experience of many generations of harmonic and healthy coexistence of man in nature. People became conscious of the environment through myths. The contradictions of man?s impact on the environment are investigated. All contradictions are based on technology and mismanagement of resources. Human impact on nature is destructive. The basic principles of the natural structure of the biosphere are violated. The authors believe that people forgot about our spiritual and cultural roots. Moreover, people fell away from the adoration of nature, lost harmony with the world. Realizing the need to restore the lost integrity, the authors are convinced that turning to the spiritual heritage of the ancestors and using it to form a new ecological thinking, referring to ancient myths is extremely relevant today. The article proposes the implementation of a social project through the development of methods to promote new forms of environmental consciousness using myths and legends about plants of the Mari Republic, Russia and world on the whole.
