Abstract

Scientific and technological development is an important requirement to ensure the development of geodesic and cartographic fields. At the same time, science and technology have also been identified as key in socio-economic development in the context of the world applying the great achievements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Technological changes in measurement and mapping such as satellite positioning technology, digital technology, network technology, etc. have been changing methods of receiving, processing information and using geodetic products and. The map is increasingly accurate, fast and effective, contributing to the promotion of the use of artificial intelligence, connecting everything based on geospatial database. This paper explores the application of information technology in land management and the development trend of ?GIS in Vietnam?. This is one of the important orientations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam in the current period. The application of information technology is imperative to meet the state management objectives of natural resources and the environment towards sustainable development and implementation of the policy of economization.
