Abstract

The proposed paper presents the situation of the Aranca hydroameliorative arrangement located in the western part of Romania. The Aranca hydroameliorative arrangement was realized in 1965 and the completion of the land improvement works in this arrangement were realized between the years 1974-1977. Since the execution, a series of rehabilitation works have been carried out due to changes in agricultural practices in the area affected by climate change. This research assesses the state of the art as well as its functional characteristics, taking into account the possibility of accessing budget funds for the rehabilitation of technologically degraded or degraded components, considering the sustainable development and environmental protection. Farmers need to get a better crop yield, but also the current legal framework, make this subject an actual subject. The purpose of the paper is to synthesize the design works and to identify the critical points in which intervention is required, from public or private funds.
