ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AS AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION
Abstract
Environmental management is aimed at the safe use of natural processes, taking into account the biological features of management and the socio-economic possibilities of the management company. Responsible business contains a set of principles, methods, means and forms of production management, developed and applied at an enterprise in order to improve the environmental efficiency of production. Environmental management includes an assessment of the social and environmental performance of the organization. Environmental management requirements change every year. This is due to the development of the concept of sustainable development of the world economy. The relevance of this work is confirmed by the fact that any company is subject to verification for compliance with international environmental standards. The company is responsible to the social community. The main goal of environmental management is to increase the credibility of the enterprise in which it operates, by consistently improving the environmental situation in all spheres of activity. The most characteristic improvement is the reduction of the negative impact of industrial enterprises on the environment. Modern environmental management mechanism has been used by industrial enterprises for more than a decade. It is based on a systematic approach and the use of a set of management decisions.
