Abstract

The complicated geodynamic situation occurred as the result of the intensive exploitation of Verkhnekamskoe potash deposit (VKMKS) was complexified by induced accidents in 1995, 2007 and 2014. Most of the city of Berezniki is located above the minefield of the BKPRU-1 mine. The exploitation of the potash since 1995 has been accompanied by continuous seismic monitoring, its data are used both for operational control and forecast purposes. Starting from the part of the mine SKRU-2 in 1995 the system has been expanded and modernized, which allowed increasing the accuracy of location of epicenters of events and improving the efficiency of processing. By 2011, there had been formed the concept of construction, operation and development of the system on four scale levels: teleseismic, regional, local (mine) and detailed. This has led to a wide magnitude range without losing the detail in areas of the high risk. At the moment the underground monitoring network covers three mines in Solikamsk, two mines in Berezniki. In addition, the system includes a regional seismic station PR1R (Romanovo) and 10 subnets of the detailed monitoring of the emergency zones and potentially hazardous sites. The data streams from the mines of Solikamsk are collected in the regional monitoring center on the territory of the mine management department, the rest of the data is transmitted and processed at the Data Collection center in GI URO RAN (Perm). At the moment the mine monitoring systems are actively transferred to the digital data transmission directly from the seismic sensor using SHDSL technology. The necessary condition of such a system is the high precision time synchronization using the NTP protocol. Seismic networks on the surface are actively using GSM for data transmission and GSP/GLONASS system for the time synchronization. The digital seismic loggers ?Ermak-5?, developed in GI URO RAN are used on most points. The main advantages of these devices are low power consumption, high stability of the time base, the graphical screen for controlling the registration parameters and the waveforms, the use of open data collection protocols, monitoring and management. the SeisComp3 software package is the main tool for data streams managing. Complexly structured seismic monitoring system provides the tools for monitoring the performance of all the elements from the sensor to the data storage and for early detection of faults in the hardware. Information about the state of each seismic site is stored as the set of daily power spectra of microseisms. The modern level of the hardware and software, as well as structural and organizational arrangements enables the effective use of the system of seismological monitoring for operational control of the geodynamic situation on the territory of VKMKS.
