GEOLOGICAL SAMPLING WIHT GSKSOFT 1.0
Abstract
During field work and best practices it is imperative to create a good working environment that is as easy and convenient to our interests and needs but with a higher data security. Maintaining and accuracy of data during field work is just as important as the samples to be taken. For this reason and due to internet access to almost every working region we have created a Mobile Application through which any sample that will handle it automatically will save the data and it called GSKSoft 1.0 (Geological Survey of Kosovo Sampling Software 1.0). Also to facilitate fieldwork and to get as much information as possible about the location where we are, the topography of that region, the geology of that region has attached the geological and topographic map of the republic of Kosovo (Currently existing maps 1:200.000). This application has been tested and has provided quite good results in the work done, in storing data and populating the database with field data, has maintained and delivered data to the server, accepting and modifying these data with the possibility of error and their improvement. This software is designed for geological research and depending on your interest you can have all kinds of maps incorporated in it and extract information while on the field.
