Abstract

The article aims to advance the concept of agroeconomics as a pivotal driver of sustainable development, efficient resource utilization, and economic stability-an area of both theoretical and practical significance, given its central role in the ongoing sustainability of the sector. Research methodology: In light of global challenges like population growth, climate change, and finite natural resources, agroeconomics is crucial for ensuring food security, maintaining ecological balance, and supporting the socio-economic progress of rural communities. Study objectives: - to analyze the fundamental aspects of agroeconomics as a contributor to sustainable development and resource efficiency within the framework of development structure and trends; -to evaluate the impact of digital technologies on agroeconomics and their role in enhancing the agro-industrial sector-s efficiency. The study emphasizes the efficient management of land, water, and energy resources, the adoption of digital technologies and agricultural innovations, and the promotion of bioeconomy and organic farming. It underscores the importance of managing agro-industrial supply chains and adapting to climate change as foundational for sustainable economic growth and prudent natural resource use. The article highlights the strategic role of agroeconomics in promoting stability and resilience within the agricultural sector amid the forces of globalization and digitalization. The findings validate the transformative impact of digital technology on agroeconomics and the agro-industrial complex-s operational efficacy, providing practical insights into enhancing the agricultural sector's competitiveness, sustainability, and economic performance in the era of digital transformation.
