Abstract

In the framework of this study, the features of the competencies in the modern education system are highlighted in the conditions of increased production of information resources, knowledge and their use in innovative products. The key role of research competencies as a way of generating innovative solutions in comparison with alternative approaches to the organization of innovative processes is shown. Models for evaluating innovation processes in terms of the growth rates of production of modern products, increasing their characteristics and volumes of distribution on the market are proposed. A criterion for the success of the application of research competencies in the form of fulfilling the condition for the domination of the rate of entropy reduction in the process of obtaining innovative solutions over the pace of distribution of innovation analogues is developed. A mathematical model of the volumes of information and control actions for solving innovative problems is obtained. This model of formation of control actions on such a process simultaneously provides an assessment of the research competencies of personnel managing the production of knowledge and their use in innovation processes.
