Abstract

The work presents the concerns and contributions of the research collective in the hydrology and water management field of the Hydrotechnics Faculty, “Politehnica” University – Romania, from last years. In the work are taken into account: the accidental inundations produced by the cross and longitudinal of the defense works failure; the water courses rehabilitation, the assessment and re ecology techniques of the water body; modeling of the eco hydrological systems; economic analysis of the catchments proper Framework Directive 2000/60/CE
