Abstract

The article highlights the main problems of the mineral and raw resources replenishment in Russia, and gives recommendations on how to stimulate it. In recent years, in the general structure of reserves for the majority of minerals, the share of proven and prepared for mining reserves has significantly increased, while the share of estimated reserves and estimated resources has decreased. The work used analytical, abstract-logical and comparative methods of research. The key idea is that the development and purposeful use of the economic mechanism plays the main role in the system of measures to stimulate the replenishment of mineral resources. In the system of measures to stimulate the reproduction of mineral resources, the development and purposeful use of an economic mechanism for influencing production, which should create conditions for increasing the immediate material interest of the workforce of enterprises in ensuring the rational use, protection and reproduction of natural resources, are of great importance.
