STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF THE DIGITALIZATION TECHNOLOGY WIDESPREAD APPLYCATION IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
Abstract
The prioritised tasks of the Common Agricultural Policy include sustainable agricultural production and improving food chain safety. Achieving this requires knowledge transfer, innovation and financing. The production and processing of agricultural products today take place in line with the objectives set by the Common Agricultural Policy for the post-2020 period. Among these, the horizontal objective often referred to as the tenth objective permeating all other areas is “Knowledge management and innovation,†which serves as a tool for achieving the other goals established for the post-2020 period. In addition to financing, the return on investment and the economic efficiency of agricultural production are also of paramount importance. In the field of innovation, digitalisation, robotics and the application of artificial intelligence are currently playing a major role. The transfer of this knowledge, the shaping of attitudes are of particular importance in maintaining and increasing the volume of agricultural production. The imparting of up-to-date and modern professional knowledge is thus invaluable for the young professionals of tomorrow. The main area of our research project the examination of the widespread application of the digitalization technology in the field of agricultural production with the method of PESTEL analysis. In our study we have analysed the political, economical, social, technological, environmental and legal circumstances, which have the impact on the widespread application of the digitalization technology in the agricultural sector, The objectives of Common Agricultural Policy after 2020 for real new period 2023-27 described by their strategic plan in ten key objectives. Focused on social, environmental and economic goals, these objectives. One of the main tool the widespread application of the digitalization in the agricultural sector for the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy's 9 key targets.
